Privacy Notice

1. Who looks after your data

Padel Mate is the controller of the personal data held in this app. Padel Mate is independent of Les Ormes. We aim to follow the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018.

2. What we hold

• Account details: name, email address, optional username and profile details.
• Playing data: ratings, assessments, matches, results, leagues and tournaments.
• Messages you send in community, match and private chats.
• Emergency contacts you choose to add.
• Junior profiles added by a parent or guardian.
• An optional Revolut link, shown only to players accepted into your match.
• Phone notification settings, if you turn notifications on.
• When shop tracking is enabled, shop visits and product-link clicks, associated with your account name and the products clicked.
• When app activity tracking is enabled in Test, app sessions, successful sign-ins, pages visited, navigation and tile clicks, selected actions and matches created, associated with your account. We do not collect passwords, typed form values or message contents for activity reporting.

We do not hold card or bank details, and we do not process court payments.

3. Why we use it

• To run your account and match you with suitable games (to provide the service you signed up for).
• To keep the community safe and resolve disputes (legitimate interests).
• Emergency contacts are only for use if something happens to you while playing.
• Phone notifications are only sent if you agree.
• To understand use of the shop and improve its catalogue (legitimate interests). Shop visits and product-link clicks are tracked at Les Ormes in Live and Test. Reports are restricted to the app owner’s super-admin account; clicking a retailer link does not tell us whether you bought anything.
• To understand use of the app and improve member journeys (legitimate interests). App activity reports are restricted to the app owner’s super-admin account and currently track Test activity only.

4. Who can see it

Other members see your name (or username in community chat), level and match activity. Club admins can see member details to run the app. Our hosting providers store data securely on our behalf. We never sell your data.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to close your account we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must keep something for legal reasons.

6. Your rights

• See a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it.
• Object to or limit how we use it, and turn off notifications or community chats at any time.
• Complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner (jerseyoic.org).
